I was so skeptical... I mean... a weekly, last-minute, peak-season rental for $205 when the big travel sites were all coming up with $550-1000? No WAY could this be right. Too good to be true. Well.... knowing that it really couldn't get worse than a grand at the rental counter (worst case we'd bus it and just keep close to our Maui hotel), we "reserved" a car anyway, hopped on the flight, and went to the car counter as instructed to pay for and pick up our car (it ended up being at Avis). Low and behold, all went smoothly and indeed, our rental came to $218 when we returned the car (due to the extra HI taxes and tourist fees added on top of the total). AWESOME!!

I just wanted to let you know that we were so happy with your efficient service when we booked our car with Alamo in November through you. They were great and everything was so easy and hassle free! We are used to renting cars in Britain and it’s always a nightmare with threats about not taking their insurance and pressure to add on stuff you don’t need etc. leaving you paranoid about everything!
If we come back to Hawaii we would certainly book through you again and will always search out Alamo in our travels.

My family visited Oahu during February 2016 and decided to rent a car for 10
days of our trip. Originally booked online with your company, and thought
the car was very reasonable. I called Linda just to confirm the pickup of

This March 2017 we booked a Luxury car from Budget thru DHCR. We were given a Cadillac ATS with 35000 miles and lots of wear showing inside and out. After arriving at our condo we called DHCR and spoke with Linda. Within an hour we had a brand new upgraded Cadillac xts delivered right to our condo. WOW. Thanks DHCR. Quick Response
Great service! I received a quick response with a car reservation at almost half of the cheapest deal I could find on any other travel websites like Priceline. The reservation came through as a confirmation from Avis. I did not have to pay anything extra other than the actual rental to Avis! I don't know how these guys do it, but I wouldn't look anywhere else to book a car for next time around.

I just wanted to express my gratitude on behalf of my family for your help with dealing with Budget. We could not believe that a rental company would try to do this to us, charge us $700 to rent the same vehicle we had reserved for one day less of service. Your connection to the manager was instrumental and quite a relief that we didn't have to spend that extra money that instead went to us enjoying our trip to Oahu.

Very Easy
So simple! Picked out what size car we needed, even tells you how many people or bags of luggage can fit in which cars. I emailed them a few times before booking because I had some questions. Once I picked the size car I made reservations. You don't pay until you get there and can cancel at anytime. They booked me with thrifty. Upon arriving at the airport we took a shuttle to thrifty, waited in line, got the keys and left. Upon returning drove through, paid and parked, took the shuttle back to the airport. Very easy.
By time we get everything else done for the trip, I will need a holiday.
I have also checked into our vehicle insurance here at home and our package policy does cover rental units.I don’t know if I can tell you this enough, but thank you very much for all your help and patience with this for us.

Last week I learned about your website from cruisecritic.com and after
reading all of the positive comments I decided to give you a call since I
needed reservations for 3 islands. I'm so glad I called. I spoke with a
representative named Linda and she was great. She was able to get
reservations for me at all 3 islands and at a great price. She was very
friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable and if she is representative of your
company then you must have an excellent organization. I'm extremely pleased
with the service that Linda provided and will definitely recommend DHCR and
Linda to others. Thank you.
There Were No Hidden Fees
I am so glad that I found this place by searching the internet. My parents and I booked a flight to Maui to visit family for 6 days during the New Year time frame. Had I booked directly through the rental agency it would have been $200+ a day. I paid less than that. The customer service representative answered all my questions via email in a timely and efficient manner. I wanted to change the pickup to an earlier time, but the rep just told me to check in at Enterprise after we had landed. The reps at Enterprise were really helpful and we got a brand new 2015 car to cruise around in. The charges were exactly as it was quoted. There were no hidden fees. Totally trustworthy company to rent a car through especially during the holidays in Hawaii.
